About the position

Introduction

Quintel Intelligence develops the Energy Transition Model (ETM), a free online resource that allows anyone to discover possible energy futures. As part of our mission to further the discussion and decision making on the subject of energy, we are running an ambitious education program, together with GasTerra. We are looking for someone who can help us forge relationships with educational institutions and educators at all levels, market the available material and organize as many lessons and workshops as possible.

Our Educational Projects

We are working on an ambitious education program that spans the range from Primary School all the way to Post-master education. We want to reach 50 percent of all students in the next years. Your assignment

All the material developed for and by Quintel is freely available. We want to increase the impact of this material by making sure more people are aware of its existence and by learning more about their wishes and needs. At a practical level, we want to set up as many lessons and workshops as possible both at secondary schools, and at relevant vocational (MBO), applied bachelor (HBO) or university level courses. Your mission will be to:

• Conduct market research for our education program
  • Call educators on a school-by-school, faculty-by-faculty basis
  • Interview educators active or interested in the field of energy
• Organize as many lessons and educational workshops with the ETM as possible
• Establish lasting collaboration with educators
• Help us fine tune the available educational material to best suit the wishes and needs of both educators and students

What we are looking for

We are searching for somebody who:

• Has graduated with at least a bachelor's degree (or is about to)
• is a good communicator
• is a good organizer
• has some affinity with the subject of energy
• has some affinity with education
• is fluent in Dutch

Duration

This full-time position is temporary and will last at least 6 months.

Location

Our office in the center of Amsterdam. For optimal colloboration with our team, we need you to work from here as much as possible.

About us

We help our clients answer questions like: "What does a climate neutral energy system for my area look like?". The ETM is used by governments, grid operators, consultants, NGO's, academics and others to research their options to bring down greenhouse gas emissions. Since the energy transition is a highly collaborative effort, the ETM is rapidly becoming a factual framework for discussions between various stakeholders in the energy transition.

Quintel develops the Energy Transition Model and is a Dutch company, with an office in the centre of Amsterdam. Our team gets the work done during office hours, so that we can enjoy our evenings, with the occasional after-work drinks.
